GPS Watch - Garmin Forerunner 405

GPS Watch - Garmin Forerunner 405

Pros:
Garmin in general is known for their GPS abilities.  If I am running on the road I want the same comforting feedback that I get from the treadmill.  I want my heart rate, how far I ran, and my time with how far being the most important for distance running.  Check out my Running Log, it has the graphs and everything this watch offers.

Cons:
I was kinda bummed out that I have to wear a heart rate monitoring strap.  I bought my wife the Sportline brand of SOLO watches that do not need a chest strap (Sportline is known for their HRM + Calorie counting), but we quickly found out that it gives a crappy heart rate reading.  So, back to the strap for me.

PS: Thanks Patrick Miller for the idea!
